Sweet marmalade

Since we no longer have a cat I searched the archives of PaintMyPhoto for some cat images to paint and came across this ginger beauty called Gus. So, it's thanks to Michael Yates for sharing this rich bounty. I really enjoyed painting Gus and hope to try some more 'puddy tats' soon.

Acrylics on canvas. 8.5 x 8.5 inches.

Beautiful, Gillian! Gus looks like quite the contented puddy tat.

This is a great portrait of Gus. I like how you have captured the many colours of his fur, which is set off beautifully by the background colour.
