High and dry

Another painting worked from a copyright free image from PaintMyPhoto, courtesy of Sharon Whitley. I often shy away from painting boats but this one spoke to me. Beautifully weathered and battered and no rigging!

9x9 inches, mixed media (acrylics and colour pencil) on canvas.

Hi, Gillian,
The texture and colours are very lovely. Come over Sydney! Let's go for sketching boats together!

I like its isolation, lovely work.
We've got loads of fishing boats too, so now you have two offers!

Beautiful lines on that boat Gillian. I'm way overdue to do some paintings.

Lovely painting Gillian, I really like washed-up solitary boats like this and you did a great job with it. You are so versatile with different mediums (media?)!

Lovely work! You are amazing with acrylics. I just never was able to make them work for me. Your range of colors is beautiful.
